Job Description:

- Oversee and perform day-to-day financial operations including accounting, cash management, and financial forecasting.

- Prepare, analyze and interpret monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local regulations.

- Prepare budget forecasts.

- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

- Prepare and coordinate external financial audits. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure effective audit closure.

- Prepare financial reports within the deadlines required by regulatory agencies;

- Collaborate on presentations to management and external stakeholders.

- Analyze variances between forecasts and actual results and recommend corrective actions.

- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special financial projects.

- Train and coach team members in sound corporate financial management practices.

- Participate in corporate meetings.

- Any other tasks requested by the immediate superior.


Requirements

- Degree: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.

- Certification: CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation required.

- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting/finance, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry. In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and local financial regulations. Comfortable with IT tools - Excel must be well mastered;

- Proven experience in preparing financial audit files.

- Knowledge of SAGE software is an asset.

- Experience with a listed company is an asset.

Description des tâches :

• Superviser et effectuer les opérations financières quotidiennes y compris la comptabilité, la gestion de la trésorerie, et les prévisions financières.

• Élaborer, analyser et interpréter les états financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels conformément aux normes IFRS.

• Assurer la conformité aux normes IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) et aux règlements locaux.

• Préparer les prévisions budgétaires.

• Mettre en place et maintenir des contrôles internes efficaces pour garantir l'exactitude et la fiabilité des données financières.

• Préparer et coordonner les audits financiers externes. Collaborer avec les auditeurs externes pour assurer une clôture d'audit efficace.

• Préparer des rapports financiers dans les délais requis par les agences réglementaires ;

• Collaborer aux présentations pour la direction et les parties prenantes externes.

• Analyser les écarts entre les prévisions et les résultats réels et recommander des actions correctives.

• Identifier et mettre en œuvre des améliorations des processus financiers pour augmenter l'efficacité et réduire les coûts.

• Participer activement aux initiatives d'amélioration continue et aux projets spéciaux financiers.

• Former et encadrer les membres de l’équipe aux bonnes pratiques d’une gestion financière saine d’entreprise.

• Participer aux réunions corporatives.

• Toutes autres tâches demandées par le supérieur immédiat.

Exigences

• Diplôme : Bac en finance, comptabilité, ou dans un domaine connexe.

• Certification : Titre de CPA (Comptable Professionnel Agréé) obligatoire.

• Expérience : Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en comptabilité/finance, de préférence dans l'industrie pharmaceutique ou manufacturière. Connaissance approfondie des normes IFRS et des règlements financiers locaux. Aisance avec les outils informatiques – Excel doit être bien maitrisé ;

• Expérience avérée dans la préparation des dossiers d’audit financier.

• Connaissance du logiciel SAGE est un atout.

• Expérience avec une Société cotée en Bourse est un atout.
