Job Summary:

The Merchandiser will be responsible for optimizing the presentation and promotion of cruise offerings on our website and other sales channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, an understanding of market trends, and the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:


Product Presentation:

 - Curate and maintain an attractive and accurate presentation of cruise packages on our website.

 - Ensure all product descriptions, images, and pricing are up-to-date and compelling.

 - Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance the online customer experience.


Supplier Relations:

 - Work closely with suppliers to negotiate exclusive deals, promotions, and group rates.

 - Manage relationships with major cruise lines to secure the best possible offerings for our customers.


Sales Optimization:

 - Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improving product offerings and promotions.

 - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that drive traffic and sales.

 - Monitor and report on the performance of merchandising strategies and promotions.


Inventory Management:

 - Maintain an accurate inventory of available cruise packages.

 - Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage availability and resolve any discrepancies.


Market Research:

 - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.

 - Use market insights to inform merchandising decisions and stay ahead of the competition.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the travel or e-commerce industry.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in using content management systems and e-commerce platforms.

- Passion for travel and a deep understanding of the cruise industry is a plus.
