Bi-Lingual Merchandising Specialist Job Description

At Sales Jobs Connect, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bi-Lingual Merchandising Specialist to join our Field Sales team. As the face of our brand with retailers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional field merchandising and execution within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an efficient retail call coverage plan for the assigned territory.
  • Utilize professional selling skills to achieve 100% distribution of products and secure additional points of interruption.
  • Provide regular feedback to stakeholders on retail successes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with store influencers and decision-makers.
  • Interact with store staff to keep them informed about upcoming store projects and timelines.
  • Assist stores in updating point-of-purchase materials, shelf labels, and marketing promotions.
  • Report out-of-stocks and work with stores to order as needed.
  • Maintain a customer database with customer information, call activity, and results.
  • Participate in monthly sales team meetings and assist with corporate trade show events.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of sales and field merchandising experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with all levels of store personnel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Personable and dynamic personality to promote our product.
  • Must be Bilingual English and French.

Working Conditions:

  • Daily travel to various retail locations.
  • Heavy lifting and moving of stock daily.
  • Bending and climbing may be necessary to stock shelves.
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends to conduct demos.
