We are looking for a passionate and innovative Assistant Store Manager for our store


As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping to smoothly run your store, the development of your team, delivering the highest standard of customer service, introducing hundreds of new customers to the wonderful world of loose leaf tea and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile.


Your responsibilities will include, not be limited to:

  • Ensure that your team delivers the outstanding DAVIDsTEA Experience, while providing the highest level of customer service
  • Lead by example through educating customers about the world of tea, DAVIDsTEA blends, products and accessories
  • Deliver feedback and coaching on a regular basis to team members and promote a positive and fun team atmosphere
  • Meet sales targets and achieve profitability by controlling costs (labour, supplies, inventory etc.)
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, and delegate effectively to meet daily/weekly deadlines
  • Adhere to the Food Safe principles and internal guidelines of beverage preparation and workplace safety guidelines
  • Closely collaborate with the Store Manager to develop store specific strategies and to implement them
  • Establish DAVIDsTEA as a community contributor: create relationships with local businesses and participate in local events

Some ideal qualities you possess:

  • 2-3 years experience in a team lead role in retail/sales or customer service
  • A friendly and upbeat personality
  • Hands-on with a track record of consistently improving sales performance and team development
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactivity and ease in coaching and teaching others
  • A self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • Desire to grow with the company and tackle new challenges
  • Capability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing and fast-paced work environment
  • Interest in tea and/or willingness to learn and become a tea expert
  • Flexibility to move to a different store or province on short notice for career advancement

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un gérant adjoint de boutique innovateur et passionné pour notre boutique


À titre de gérant adjoint de boutique, vous aurez la responsabilité de contribuer au bon fonctionnement de votre boutique et au développement de votre équipe, d’offrir un service à la clientèle de haut niveau, d’initier des centaines de nouveaux clients à l’univers merveilleux du thé en feuilles et de faire en sorte que chaque client reparte avec le sourire.


Vos responsabilités incluront, notamment :

  • Vous assurer que votre équipe offre l’extraordinaire Expérience DAVIDsTEA et un service à la clientèle de la plus haute qualité en tout temps.
  • Montrer l’exemple en renseignant les clients sur l’univers du thé ainsi que les mélanges, produits et accessoires de Les Thés DAVIDsTEA.
  • Offrir une rétroaction et du coaching sur une base régulière aux membres de l’équipe et favoriser une atmosphère d’équipe constructive et agréable.
  • Atteindre les objectifs de vente et assurer la rentabilité en maîtrisant les coûts (main-d’œuvre, fournitures, stocks, etc.).
  • Superviser les opérations quotidiennes et déléguer efficacement les tâches afin de respecter les échéanciers quotidiens/hebdomadaires.
  • Respecter les principes de manipulation sécuritaire des aliments et les directives internes pour la préparation des boissons et la sécurité en milieu de travail.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le gérant de boutique afin d’élaborer et de mettre en œuvre des stratégies propres à la boutique.
  • Établir Les Thés DAVIDsTEA comme un collaborateur communautaire; créer des liens avec des entreprises locales et participer à des événements locaux.

Certaines qualités idéales que vous possédez :

  • De 2 à 3 années d’expérience dans un rôle de leader dans le domaine de la vente, du commerce de détail ou du service à la clientèle
  • Une personnalité amicale et dynamique
  • Avoir fait ses preuves dans l’amélioration systématique des rendements de vente et le développement d’équipe
  • Compétences informatiques et maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office
  • Capacité de travailler de manière efficace et de s’adapter dans un contexte où les activités se déroulent à un rythme très rapide
  • Proactivité et facilité à offrir du coaching et à enseigner aux autres
  • Sens de l’initiative avec excellentes aptitudes pour la communication
  • Désir de grandir au sein de l’entreprise et de relever de nouveaux défis
  • Flexibilité et capacité d’adaptation dans un environnement de travail changeant au rythme soutenu
  • Intérêt pour le thé et/ou désir d’apprendre et de devenir un expert du thé
  • Ouverture à être muté dans une autre boutique ou une autre province à court préavis pour avancement professionnel
