Customer Service Manager

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our inside sales group.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong leadership background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team of customer service representatives. You will be responsible for establishing clear performance objectives, conducting regular performance evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating, and developing a team of customer service representatives
  • Establishing clear performance objectives and conducting regular performance evaluations
  • Providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Monitoring order processing and fulfillment to ensure orders are expedited promptly and accurately
  • Collaborating closely with the Production and Planning teams to streamline workflows and resolve any production-related issues that may impact order delivery
  • Implementing proactive measures to reduce order lead times and improve order accuracy
  • Developing and executing training programs to equip customer service representatives with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles
  • Providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Leading and overseeing customer service-related projects, including process improvements and system enhancements

Requirements:

  • University degree in a relatable field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in customer service management or a related role within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and lead customer service representatives across multiple geographically dispersed locations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives, streamline workflows, and optimize customer service operations
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Production, and Planning departments
  • Experience in developing and implementing training programs for customer service teams to enhance their skills and performance
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices to ensure consistent service quality
