To meet the growing demand for our First Derivative services, we are looking to hire a Murex Support Engineer in Toronto


Must have

  • Prior experience working in a support role
  • Must have had some experience supporting Murex
  • Good understanding of the Murex architecture to be able to propose interim and strategic solutions
  • Familiarity with various Murex Modules including: Trade Capture, Trade Events, Processes scripts, UDFs, Access Rights, Static Data, Maturity sets, Market Data, pre-trade workflows
  • Some hands-on experience in debugging issues in Murex technical configuration (e.g helping to resolve issues in Datamart, MxML pre & post trade etc)
  • Good knowledge of a variety of asset classes and product: Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives etc
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Technical skills including Unix, Shell Scripting, SQL, Interfaces would be an additional bonus
