Our client is seeking an adaptable and self-motivated individual to join their team as a Desktop Support Analyst. This is 100% On-Site role in Downtown Calgary, AB. The initial contract length is 6-months with a strong possibility for extension.


Key Skills:

  • Desktop support for Windows 11, M365 technologies, MS Teams, Sharepoint Online, all Microsoft technologies.
  • End users with Active Directory, Azure Apps, Azure ID, workstation support
  • 100% On-site role in Calgary, AB
  • 6 Month initial contract, strong possibility for extension.


As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will:

  • Be the initial point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance through various communication channels, including phone, email, and a ticket system/web portal.
  • Apply best practices in customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately categorize incoming tickets as break/fix or service requests.
  • Assess the impact and urgency of incidents or support requests to prioritize effectively.


To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • 4+ years of experience in Desktop Support in an Enterprise environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms.
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with VMware, Microsoft RDS, Windows Operating Systems, and cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Five 9 is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB Management, and Problem Management.
  • ITIL Foundation v3.0 certification or higher.
