THE ROLE

As the Communications Coordinator, you'll embody our company values and drive positive business relationships. You oversee content curation for social media, managing our digital presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Google and YouTube, and implementing SEO strategies to boost website visibility. You'll ensure our website remains current and engaging, while also developing standardized documents and templates for the team to use internally and externally. Additionally, you'll oversee inventory processes, assist in the coordination of company events, and support community involvement initiatives. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be pivotal in maintaining efficiency and fostering engagement across various channels.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Most importantly, you will lead by example, live our values, and drive business relationships for

the company by fostering a strong brand presence.

• Manage and curate content for social media accounts, including scheduling posts and engaging

with the audience.

• Update and maintain Google and YouTube channels, ensuring accurate metrics are provided for

analysis.

• Implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve website visibility and traffic,

including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.

• Oversee website updates and management to ensure content remains current and engaging.

• Develop and distribute standardized company documents and templates.

• Create visually compelling graphics and layouts using design software such as Canva and InDesign

to enhance the effectiveness of communication materials and support our branding and

messaging.

• Implement and manage inventory tracking and ordering processes for HK Henderson branded

items.

• Coordinate semi-annual headshot sessions and maintain organized files.

• Manage Templafy downloads and ensure efficient utilization of the platform.

• Monitor and respond to customer feedback and inquiries received through social media channels,

ensuring prompt and professional communication.

• Provide support in creating and distributing monthly communication newsletters.

• Assist in the coordination and promotion of company events, company-sponsored initiatives, and

community involvement.

• Drive company culture through effective communication, fostering alignment among the

organization.

• Other duties as required.


WHAT WE REQUIRE:

• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written correspondence.

• Have a clear, professional and informative communication style.

• High follow-through and strong organizational skills.

• Proficiency in content creation tools, such as PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign,

or similar software.

• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for optimizing online content.

• Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles.

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies.

• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.

• Skills in problem solving, critical thinking, decision making, teamwork, communication,

organization, innovation, and adaptability.

• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate the status of assignments
