Role Description

Associate, Client Administration

To support our continued growth, we are seeking an Associate to join our Client Advisory team.


As part of Focus’ client-facing team, the Associate, Client Administration will support the team in providing an exceptional client experience.

What Will You Do?


Client onboarding and data management:

·        Input and maintain client & prospective client information in client relationship management (CRM) platform

·        Preparation of account opening documents

·        Coordinate with team to obtain account opening compliance approval

·        Initiate transfer of clients’ assets from external institutions to the firm and ensuring all assets are accounted for; provide transfer progress updates to the team

·        Ensure client documents (applications, compliance documents, ID, etc.) are saved to appropriate locations

·        Assist team members (AVP) in setting up account asset mix in CRM platform

·        Assist team members in preparing client documents (LOD, EFT, beneficiary update, etc.)

·        Set up clients on the Client Portal & provide portal support as requested


Know-Your-Client (KYC) annual renewals

·        Collaborate with the Executive Assistant in the completion of the annual KYC renewals

·        Prepare updated client KYCs for AVPs to send to clients for signatures

·        Input any KYC updates into CRM


Support the Senior Manager on any ad-hoc requests including but not limited to

·        Client Advisory team initiatives

·        Planning and execution of client events

·        Marketing initiatives


Back up to Executive Assistant

·        Assist in scheduling client and prospect meetings for the Portfolio Managers

·        Assist in ad-hoc requests from Portfolio Managers


Candidate capabilities and experience

·        Exceptional client service acumen

·        Resourceful and independent

·        Self-motivated

·        Ability to proactively prioritize


Qualifications:

·        Undergraduate degree

·        1-2 years of relevant experience in the finance industry
