As Inside Sales Representative, based in Richmond, BC. You will be integral in revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers leading to future sales. Integrity, vision, and passion are essential for this role.


RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Develop new customers; identifies and pursues valuable leads.
  • Grow existing customer accounts and relationships.
  • Service current client base, responding to needs and requirements.
  • Assist with bidding on jobs, material takeoffs and project pipeline preparation.
  • Provide clarification to customers on terms and conditions.
  • Assist with generating revenue in the commercial and residential construction markets.
  • Develop and build relationships with new accounts and develop additional contacts within existing accounts to assist in increased market share.
  • Keep up-to-date records on sales calls, customer contacts, and details of meetings and then filtering and distributing leads to respective Area Manager or Sales Rep.
  • Take proactive measures to reach potential clients through cold calling and emails, proactively utilizing available databases and target lists.
  • Assist in developing a market plan for local customers and update monthly sales report metrics.
  • Conduct research to stay informed about market trends, new projects, and emerging markets and proactively keep the region leadership team informed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school Diploma - College preferred, but not required.
  • Keen interest in market analysis, with a curiosity for understanding industry trends and dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating under the supervision of Sales Leadership Team.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Eagerness to learn about business development strategies and contribute to their implementation.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be comfortable with cold calling for effective client engagement.
  • The position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid technical and analytical skills.
  • Location is not accessible by public transportation. Car is required.
