Jewlr is the primary Ecommerce brand by Safyre Labs and is the leading online destination for personalized jewellery. Jewlr is a rapidly growing brand that leverages innovation and technology to disrupt the traditional global jewelry industry. Founded in 2009, Jewlr has won several innovation awards and has over one million customers globally. We design and produce the jewellery in our state-of-the-art workshop located in Toronto, Canada. We handcraft each piece with care to deliver jewellery our customers love.


Responsibilities

  • Gather and compile data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data validation and cleaning.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Use statistical methods and tools to interpret data and generate reports.
  • Create clear and informative reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Present data insights and recommendations to management and other departments.
  • Work closely with other teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to improve data infrastructure and Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
  • Propose and implement improvements to data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5 years experience in data analysis or a similar role and providing customer insights within eCommerce brands and retail data
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. SQL, Excel, R. Python)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with Data Warehouses (e.g. Big Query, Snowflake)
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modelling
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively
  • Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize objectives based on impact potential
