About the Opportunity
The Accounting Manager will play a crucial leadership role within the organization, overseeing financial operations and driving strategic initiatives. Reporting to the senior leadership team, this role involves managing the accounting team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and improving processes to support the firm's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation is a strong asset).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in accounting. At least 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of streamlining processes and driving efficiencies.

Le Gestionnaire Comptable occupera un rôle clé de leadership au sein de l'organisation, supervisant les opérations financières et menant des initiatives stratégiques. Relevant de l'équipe de direction, ce poste implique la gestion de l'équipe comptable, l'assurance de la conformité réglementaire et l'optimisation des processus pour soutenir le succès à long terme de l'entreprise.
Principales responsabilités :
- Diriger et encadrer l'équipe comptable, en offrant orientation et mentorat.
- Superviser la préparation d'états financiers et de rapports précis.
- Gérer les processus de clôture mensuelle et annuelle, en assurant leur réalisation dans les délais.
- Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des politiques et procédures comptables pour améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle.
- Collaborer avec les équipes internes et les parties prenantes pour fournir des analyses financières et appuyer la prise de décision.
- Assurer la conformité avec les normes comptables et les exigences réglementaires.
- Rester à jour sur les tendances de l'industrie et les meilleures pratiques pour maintenir des standards élevés.

- Maîtrise des logiciels comptables et compétences avancées en Excel.
