AutoCanada,a leading North American multi-location automobile dealership, is searchingfor a top talent Buyer to help develop and lead a world class organization. Inthis role, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing andpurchasing vehicles for our wholesale export program

Responsibilities.

Meets all goals and objectives for the company including but notlimited to vehicles purchased and gross profit margin for vehicles acquired. Evaluate, appraises and purchase vehicles at other cardealerships, fleet providers, and auto auctions both in person and online. Travels as needed to attend buying events including weekly auctions. Comprehensive understanding of wholesale vehicle values based onmake, model and equipment. Continuously monitors wholesale trends in the automotive market inCanada and the USA. Provides management with accurate reporting on but not limited totrends, purchase and gross profits. Reviews inventory daily to ensure the proper mix of inventory. Familiarity with auction platforms is preferred. Maintains accurate daily, weekly, monthly and on demand reportingthat reflects activities associated with the wholesale buying program. Understands the federal, provincial, and local laws that governboth wholesale and retail automobile sales and ensures that wholesale programis in compliance. Make financially sound purchasing decisions for the company.

Requirements.

3 years relevant vehicle sales experience. Strong communication skills. Ability to analyze large amounts of data. Ability to work well with others. Detail Oriented. Self-Motivated. Enthusiasm for the Automotive industry. Valid Driver’s License.
