L'analyste financier, opérations relèvera directement du directeur des finances et jouera un rôle clé pour assurer le bon fonctionnement des opérations de Goodfood. Tu seras responsable de diverses mesures de coûts et de données financières qui ont un impact et influencent les opérations. Tu travailleras en collaboration avec les départements Ventes & Approvisionnement et Opérations, devra s'assurer de l'exactitude des données financières, analyser les écarts majeurs, expliquer les causes et prendre des mesures correctives. L'analyste financier sera également un acteur clé dans le processus de fin de mois et pour assurer la mise en place et la gouvernance des contrôles.
Responsabilités
- Travailler de manière interfonctionnelle avec les équipes des opérations et des ventes et de l'approvisionnement pour surveiller en permanence le coût des ventes, fournir des informations sur les résultats et favoriser la réduction des coûts.
- Surveillez tous les aspects de la gestion des stocks, y compris l'exactitude des transferts, des ajustements et de l'inventaire physique.
- Identifier les opportunités de réduire le gaspillage et d'autres économies de coûts
- Préparez et enregistrez les écritures de fin de mois, la conciliation de la marge brute et le rapprochement, ainsi que toutes les autres tâches périodiques liées à la comptabilité des coûts.
- Développer des processus et des outils pour améliorer les contrôles d'inventaire, l'exactitude et la fiabilité, et réduire le temps de préparation des rapports
- Revoir les provisions FEFO, obsolescence, gaspillage et tâches
- Développer une solide compréhension de la gestion des indicateurs de performance clés (KPI) et du suivi des opérations
- Participer au processus de planification budgétaire et prévisionnelle du coût des ventes
- Assurer la diffusion et la communication des résultats
Exigences
- Baccalauréat dans un domaine pertinent au poste (comptabilité, finance, gestion d'entreprise)
- CPA ou en voie d'obtenir le titre de CPA (un atout)
- 1-2 ans et plus d'expérience en gestion des stocks/coûts dans l'industrie manufacturière ou logistique/distribution
- Expérience avec les systèmes et processus WMS
- Expérience avec Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (un atout)
- Expérience dans l'industrie alimentaire (un atout)
- Excellente connaissance d'Excel et de MS Office | Suite Google

The Finance Analyst, Operations will report directly to the Finance Manager and has a key role in ensuring the proper functioning of Goodfood operations. You will be responsible for various cost metrics and financials that impact and influence the Operations. You will be working in collaboration with the Sales & Procurement and Operations departments, must ensure the accuracy of the financial data, analyze the major discrepancies, explain the causes and take corrective measures. The Finance Analyst will also be a key player in the month-end process and in ensuring the implementation and governance of controls.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with the Operations and Sales & Procurement teams to continuously monitor the cost of sales, provide insights into results & drive cost reduction.
- Monitor all aspects of inventory management including the accuracy of transfers, adjustments and physical inventory.
- Identify opportunities to reduce wastage & other cost savings
- Prepare and record month-end journal entries, gross margin reconciliation & bridge & all other cost accounting related periodic tasks
- Develop processes and tools to improve inventory controls, accuracy and reliability, and reduce time of reports preparation
- Review FEFO provisions, obsolescence, waste and tasks
- Develop a strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Management & Operations Monitoring
- Participate in the Budget & Forecast planning process for the cost of sales
- Ensure distribution and communicating results
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the role (accounting, finance, business management)
- CPA or pursuing a CPA designation (an asset)
- 1-2 years experience in inventory/cost management in the manufacturing or logistics / distribution industry
- Experience with WMS systems and processes
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (an asset)
- Experience in the food industry (an asset)
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office | Google Suite
