SALARY: $40.96 / hour

$45.63/hour after successfully completing training.

SHIFTS: 8 hour Day shifts – Maintenance (Monday – Friday). Occasional Shift Engineer Relief.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate ammonia, CO2, Compressed air, Cogeneration, Boiler and Steam systems in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures. Effectively Operating HVAC / chiller unit for proper ventilation and cooling Performing preventive maintenance routine and repair completions. Maintenance documentation updates. Respect of plant policy (Safety, Environment, Quality, Operations) Other duties as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent A Valid 2nd class Engineering certificate a minimum Minimum 3 years Powerhouse Engineer experience - manufacturing experience preferred Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic equipment an asset Good understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable with a face-paced environment Self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision Excellent sense of urgency, work ethic and attendance record
