We're seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst with Big 4 experience to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the integrity of our client's financial reporting.


Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a 3‐12 month business plan focused on continuous improvement. Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in financial operations.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and analysis of performance. Ensure the integrity of external reporting and Joint Venture (JV) Board deliverables.
  3. Process Enhancement: Design and implement enhancements to common finance procedures and processes, in alignment with Divisional policies and strategic objectives. Drive efficiency and effectiveness through process optimization.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with accounting staff in other jurisdictions. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and consistency in financial practices.
  5. Internal Controls: Coordinate the internal control testing process for the Division, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  6. Accounting Standards: Execute work required for the adoption of new accounting standards under IFRS. Advise on the accounting impact of business changes resulting from new or non-routine transactions.
  7. Transfer Pricing: Prepare transfer pricing reporting information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. External Audit: Coordinate the annual external audit and quarterly reviews for the Division. Prepare supporting documentation and respond to audit inquiries as necessary.
  9. Financial Advisory: Provide financial advice as a business partner to members of the JV management team, supporting decision-making and strategic initiatives.




-Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; CPA designation required.

-Experience in a public or complex company, with Big 4 experience preferred.

-Strong understanding of current accounting best practices and standards.

-Ability to conceive and implement a 3‐12 month business plan focused on continuous improvement.

-Proficiency in accounting data analysis and interpretation.

-Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and drive digital transformation initiatives.

-Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
