Create and keep up to date training documents. Training program development Create long-term strategies aligned with the company’s need’s concerning knowledge goals and identify knowledge gaps. Staff management Maintain and improve company standards. Ensure training programs, internal documentation convention and procedure compliance. Must understand the company’s quality system and controlled document system. Perform evaluations and give feedback to Onsite teams and Senior Management Be the direct contact between German headquarters and Witron Service Canada concerning training topics. Attend OTR, performance and improvement related meetings with Canadian Maintenance members. Manage training requests from different departments and onsite teams. Create tracking and measurable reports to support ongoing activities. Support the Onsite teams with knowledge issues and system improvement.General Duties:
Work within a team environment/team player Excellent communication between different branches and levels to ensure proper execution of training activities and compliance. Be a leader for the training department and OTR across Canada Work actively on improvements in the training program Train new colleagues as part of their onboarding Open to new ideas and improvements to help the team achieve the next level Execution of specific improvement projects, including improvements to our system, to our maintenance management in-house software and all other improvements Keep work areas clean, organized and free from debris or clutterDescription de l'emploi: Titre du poste : Gestionnaire du département de formation à la maintenance, Canada

Créer et maintenir à jour les documents de formation. Développement de programmes de formation Créer des stratégies à long terme alignées sur les besoins de l'entreprise en matière d'objectifs de connaissances et identifier les lacunes en matière de connaissances. Gestion du personnel Maintenir et améliorer les normes de l'entreprise. Assurer le respect des programmes de formation, de la convention de documentation interne et des procédures. Doit comprendre le système qualité de l'entreprise et le système de documents contrôlés. Effectuer des évaluations et donner des commentaires aux équipes sur site et à la haute direction. Être le contact direct entre le siège social allemand et Witron Service Canada concernant les sujets de formation. Assister aux réunions liées à l'OTR, à la performance et à l'amélioration avec les membrescanadiens de la maintenance. Gérer les demandes de formation des différents départements et équipes sur site. Créer des rapports de suivi et mesurables pour soutenir les activités en cours. Soutenir les équipes sur site avec les problèmes de connaissances et l'amélioration du système.Tâches générales:

Relevant Electrical and/or Mechanical experience Bachelor of Education or a combination of a DEP/Post-secondary education related to education (or equivalent work experience) preferred. Training/teaching experience is preferred. Experience with managing personnelKnowledge/Experience Required:
Functionally Bilingual (French/English) a MUST Good mechanical and electrical knowledge Practical attitude and ability to learn new tasks Excellent PC skills (MS office: PowerPoint, excel, etc.) Must be willing to travel (National and International) Must be able to work at heights exceeding 20 meters Must be flexible concerning workdays to accommodate company need’s Knowledge of wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring Knowledge of electrical/mechanical drive technology (i.e. motors and gears) Knowledge of control technology (i.e. controls/inverter) Excellent interpersonal skills Organized and methodical approach, a must Elevated ability to multi-task. Team player, good communicator, and able to deal with stressful situations. Familiarity with PLC logicQualifications:
