BBA is seeking someone for a position as Junior Engineer,Automation (FIFO) (14 days on site, 14 days off) for one of our clients innorthern Québec. You’ll be called upon to join an engineering team and play akey role in carrying out projects of all kinds.

Manage projects; Carry out engineering tasks in automation and electrical engineering; Review engineering documents; Perform inspections or technical surveys; Plan and coordinate site monitoring; Apply and enforce client procedures and standards; Solve problems using a variety of known and innovative methods and techniques and carry out comparative studies; Assess client satisfaction and maintain close relationships with clients; Support commissioning of electrical and automated power systems; Supervise site work.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

Undergraduate degree in Automated Production Engineering or Electrical Engineering; Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code Expertise in pre-operational verifications and equipment startup; Proficiency in project management, technical writing and troubleshooting; Experience estimating costs; Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador or another Canadian professional engineering association; Bilingual (both spoken and written) and ability to draft technical documents in both English and French; Driver's licence; ASP Construction card; Asset: Expertise in networking.
