Job Summary

S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a knowledgeable Co-op student to join our team as a Quality Assurance Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to gain valuable work experience. 

As a Quality Assurance Assistant, you will  

Work with team to create and update quality improvement action plans Assist capturing lessons learned to train the internal quality and operations team on customer specific requirements Assist in creating process control plans and Standard Work Instructions  Work with the team to help implement Quality System Software  Contribute to the culture of Continuous Improvement  Support identifying Identify wastes and implement process improvements Implement improvement actions by supporting the change in the teams Other duties as assigned 

Who are we looking for? Someone who

Is currently enrolled in a post secondary institution (diploma or degree program)  Is registered and eligible for a 4 month co-op placement Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity  Is detail oriented  Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision Able to lift up to 40 lbs
