If this sounds like you then this might be the job for you Randstad's Industrial Division is recruiting for a Yard Forklift Operator for a busy concrete production company in Calgary.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience operating sitdown counterbalance (dockstocker) forklifts in a manufacturing or construction setting. Additionally, they will need to be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in a noisy, dirty and dusty production environment. You need to be ready and willing to roll your sleeves up and help out your team

Shift: Monday - Friday 6AM-4:30PM, with the opportunity for more hours
Wage: $20 to $22.50/hr
Setting: Loud, production facility

Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit. We do not provide LMIA or do sponsorships.

Responsibilities
What will your daily responsibilities look like?

- Operating the Counterbalance Forklift ( Counterbalance Cat. 4500 lbs lifting capacity)
- Working with other departments to ensure steady work flow
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (average weight 30lbs)
- Any other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have **previous experience** operating a forklift in a construction/manufacturing/production/industrial setting to expedite the training process.

MUST - PPE- steel toe boots
- ability to work in a busy and noisy environment
- ability to work in a fast paced production environment
- ability to work in a dusty production environment
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- access to reliable transportation
- flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts Monday to Friday
