Job Summary

Reporting to the PI, the Coordinator will be responsible for performing and coordinating research activities in the Health Equity and Policy (HEP) lab. This role involves working in a dynamic and collegial environment, contributing to the lab’s innovative research efforts. The coordinator will oversee daily research operations in the lab, perform literature reviews and data analyses, and aid in writing grant proposals and manuscripts.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day research activities and assist trainees within the HEP lab. Conduct literature review and perform data analyses for the research projects. Assist with grant development and submission. Prepare and submit manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Participate in knowledge translation national/international conference presentations,
writing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, and writing policy briefs).

Note

The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in the field of economics, epidemiology, demography, and health services research. Experience in quantitative research. Proficiency in statistical software STATA, SAS, R). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and professionally, as well as in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong communication skills. Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and deadlines.
