Electrical Counter Sales Associate

We are currently in search of a career orientated person to join our Customer Service team, Electrical division. The position operates in a fast paced, dynamic, rewarding environment and will assume responsibility for all electrical counter sales and product returns while providing expertise as a member of the customer service team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and ordersPurchasing materials for customers and sales negotiationsSourcing materials for customers when currently not in stockDeveloping and maintaining positive customer relationshipsEnsuring that customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries and overall serviceCounter Sales and handling returns as requiredOther duties as required

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Exceptional customer serviceAbility to warm up and develop rapport with potential customersAbility to develop long term relationships and generate referrals from your customersExcellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and writtenComputer skills (Word, Excel, Email)Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Minimum grade 12 education requiredPrevious experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidateKnowledge of the plumbing and heating industry is considered an asset

Final candidates will be required to undergo an assessment and security screening, including a criminal record check. Employment is subject to screening completion that is satisfactory to Bartle & Gibson.
