We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller with our Client located in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. The Controller will be primarily responsible for overseeing the accounting functions, financial reporting and budget processes. This role will also involve the use of various software and systems including 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and project reporting.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the entire accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Managing the financial reporting, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and timeliness.
- Handling the budget processes, ensuring they align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Utilizing software and systems such as 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CRM and Crystal Reports to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Managing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer credit records.
- Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Resolving customer inquiries related to financial matters in a timely and detail oriented manner.
- Continually improving accounting practices and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Proficiency in 3M
- Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services
- Knowledge of CRM
- Proficiency in project accounting
- Understanding of Accounting Functions
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Skilled in Auditing
- Deep understanding of Budget Processes
