This position will require 3 days in our London office subject to change with future business needs.  What makes our development environment unique: Hands-on Learning Test Driven Development (TDD) Pair Programming Agile Methodologies Time provided for self-directed professional development What you’ll be doing:  Report to the Senior MLOPs Engineering Manager Build, lead and mentor teams or various disciplines Provide strategic guidance and communicate roadmaps of an enterprise operational environment Define, drive, and build the operations strategy for the department Oversee the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models and tools Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML research and industry trends Collaborate with numerous stakeholders to discover and prioritize strategic initiatives Establish and report on robust evaluation metrics and KPIs Establish clear goals and objectives that align with Department and Corporate Game Plans Ensure operations comply with security standards and regulations Work with delivery partners, architects, and teams across CARFAX to support their AI/ML initiatives on the operations platform What we’re looking for:  7+ years of software engineering or other related experience 1-3 years of experience leading teams Strong interest in deploying and managing machine learning models in production environments. Experience with AWS or other related cloud platforms. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, CI/CD practices, Kubernetes and infrastructure automation tools Proven track record of cross-functional project delivery A track record of communicating well with executives and non-technical leaders. BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline Preferred Qualifications:  Experience in deploying and monitoring large-scale AI/ML systems in production environments Strong understanding of ethical AI/ML practices, bias mitigation, and explainable AI. Experience working in a research-driven environment and collaborating with data science and research teams. Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms or AI/ML areas.
