Working with us means that you'll be part of an ambitious, diverse team that's committed to changing what it is to be blind today.

We're looking for a mission-driven Recreational Activities Program Coordinator who is passionate about creating more accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada where people with low vision have unlimited opportunities and can experience life free from barriers and discrimination.

Your Impact at CNIB

Design, plan, and execute imaginative, age appropriate recreational and leisure time activities for child and youth programs throughout the summer, with a specific focus on the planning and organization of our Annual Family Summer Camp. Successful candidate will be required to attend the Family Camp from August 7-11th. Support all camp related activities, including but not limited to planning, logistics, registration, promotion, volunteer recruitment, in-kind donations ( craft supplies), as well as work with other disability groups and community partners to share resources and adapted recreational equipment. Support fund development activities. Design and plan the CNIB Summer Garden Party (booking required vendors, interacting with volunteers, helping to publicize the events through social media, radio, and other types of media, as well as event day support and coordination). Assist in daily social media posts. Assist with upcoming advocacy campaigns.
