The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.

PMO Manager

Responsibilities

The role is to support the Go Expansion Senior Management at Turnkey level on the activities related to Project Management Office, reporting internal and external KPIs, managing transversal internal and external reports, overarching needs for production on plans and procedures, coordinating meetings and project governance issues across subsytems, partners and customer.

Develops and maintains details project schedule of regular reportings, following Alstom rules for internal reports and customer requirements for external reports.

Support Senior Management in managing key information.

Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes and presentations.

Compile summary documents, Monthly Progress Report, Management Plans, Project Delivery Reviews. Collect and include contributions of the Team.

Constant coordination and interface with project teams, partners and customer to provide regular reporting/KPI or specific reports/KPI as per customer demand or internal need of Project Director.

Organisational Reporting

Report to the Alstom E&M Deputy Project Director

Network and Links

The role will support the Systems S&TC, Electrification, Systems, Vehicle Suppliers and transversal support functions.

Educational Requirements

University degree in engineering, or similar qualification. Alternatively experience gained in large/complex industrial projects complemented by training.

Typically minimum 10 years of relevant Project Management experience (can vary slightly depending on achievements) in international project execution or if domestic, at least complex multi-partners project execution. Good knowledge of railway products and systems, Conflict management and interpersonal skills, Team spirit approach and good communication skills, Communication abilities to obtain collaboration from the matrix organisation involved in the project, Anticipation, clear reporting, Leadership, initiative and decision minded.

- Knowledgeable in all standard office tools (xls, word, mpp, ppt, outlook, ….), Power BI, Visio, Macro programming language, Project Management Softwares.
