The Role

As a result of our robust growth, we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator with a passion for marketing to join our marketing team in our Saint John, NB office.

Success in this role will require energy, enthusiasm, a positive and entrepreneurial attitude as well as advanced skills in communication, time management and collaboration at all levels of the organization. You will have advanced knowledge of digital platforms and MS Suite. 

 Responsibilities:

Support the True North Seafood sales and marketing team with the development and delivery of marketing collateral (sell sheets, brochures, website content and presentations) for branded productProvide marketing support for promotional programs in support of customer-specific activityFacilitate and contribute to successful customer interactions and tours, including but not limited to coordination of meetings, customer tastings and overall experience managementCollaborate with the Digital team to assist with the development, delivery, and monitoring of digital content across all channels, including social and websitesManage administrative duties for the overall marketing team, including but not limited to activities such as PO and budget management, POS sourcing and consumer inquiries management (phone, email and social media)Coordinate domestic and international shipments (including samples, sales POS and trade show shipments)Plan and coordinate events (including trade shows, sales meetings, customer meetings and ad hoc events)Field and process sales related requests and inquiriesManage the marketing and product content for the GS1 data systemGather and analyze market information, analyze promotional results, and communicate results to the marketing and sales teamsAttend and contribute to department and project team meetingsOther administrative duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

Post-secondary certificate or degree in marketing, communications, commerce, or a related fieldEvent planning, food industry and project management experience are considered an assetSocial media savvy with knowledge and experience using LinkedIn, Facebook, and InstagramTeam player, energetic, resourceful, reliable, and timelyExcellent written communication and proof-reading skillsExcellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter
