In accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of BC Emergency Health Services, patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at BC Emergency Health Services, and as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all patient and employee safety aspects of this position.
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Logistics, this position is responsible for the coordination of and workflow practices within the Logistics Department including supervising staff, overseeing the sanitizing and processing of medical equipment, supplies and vehicles, asset and inventory management, improving logistical processes to maximize resource availability and ensure workplace health and safety and quality assurance in accordance with in accordance with applicable legislation and BCAS policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Grade 12 plus three years’ recent, related experience including one year in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Class 5 driver’s license where applicable. Mathematical aptitude. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to supervise. Ability to organize work. Ability to operate related equipment. Ability to attain and maintain approved PPE certification, including but not limited to N95 & PC4 certification. Ability to compile, analyze data identifying trends and developing recommendations. Knowledge of Incident Command or Incident Management PracticesSkills & Knowledge
