TForce Logistics is North America's leading same-day transport and logistics services company. Our dedicated courier service includes point-to-point delivery, fleet outsourcing, facilities management, parcel distribution and custom transportation solutions. TForce Logistics requires an experienced **Operations Lead** to be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the shipping logistics while maintaining the maximum amount of profitability.

In the performance of these tasks, the **Operations Lead **will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering on service agreements. This position is based in Prince George

**Job Duties**:

- Lead and direct the team of Drivers to meet or exceed KPI targets within the Region.
- Responsible to meet or exceed budgetary targets, for Branch 662 and 655.
- Identify cost savings and process improvements.
- Solve problems by considering courses of action within the framework of Supervisor goals and standards.
- Through strong leadership, ensure all Drivers know and adhere to company policy/regulations.
- Oversee operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments.
- Provide support to Operation Managers across British Columbia.
- Handle customer situations that require increased attention.
- Manage issues and trends in an on-going manner to facilitate efficiencies, including effectiveness of processes and procedures.
- Ensure Safety is always the first priority and consideration in all our operations by ensuring compliance with company safety policies.

**Job Requirements**:

- Post
- secondary education in Supply Chain Management, related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Five years of transportation experience including staff supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid leadership skills and committed to quality for our customers.
- Able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the trucking/courier industry, including operations management will be considered an asset.
- Possess high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Prior experience dealing with Unions.
