Cambridge, Canada Kelly Services, Inc. Full time

Kelly Services is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Load Planner to join our client in Cambridge, ON for a 6-month temporary assignment. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing load plans, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of goods, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and Trace - Tracking loads to ensure successful delivery and on time arrival.
  • Communicate with Replenishment, Suppliers, scheduling and carriers to work out details of pickup and delivery.
  • Ensuring loads are optimized for efficiency.
  • Responds to phone and email requests sent from Planners; Vendors; Replenishment; Scheduling; Warehouse Operations and Transport Operations.
  • Responding to carrier emails in real-time to address any concerns or challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Transport Operations, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
  • Educational background in Supply Chain Management is an asset.
  • Geographical knowledge of Ontario and Quebec.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Must be available to work; Tuesday-Saturday 8am-4:30pm, 4 days in office and 1 day from home.
