Printing Clerk

Our client in the printing industry is seeking a dedicated Printing Clerk to handle print and bindery operations. This role involves significant physical activity, including lifting and moving paper boxes and envelopes, as well as a fast-paced environment requiring extensive walking and standing.

• 12-month contract.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment such as envelope insertion machines, hydraulic cutter, perfect binding machine, coil binding, folding, and kitting.
• Manage shipping and receiving tasks and organize inventory.
• Provide support to all Client Associate positions to meet client deliverables and offer backup and peak workload support.
• Communicate process opportunities to the Site Lead and Manager.
• Deliver outstanding customer communications and client service.
• Support administrative tasks and training of new employees as required.
• Support print, mail, courier, and imaging equipment and operations.
• Participate in our strong back-fill cross-training strategy, training on all tasks to ensure seamless operations.

What you will need to succeed:

• High School diploma or equivalent (education verification required).
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in customer service.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment requiring a lot of walking and standing.
• Ability to resolve and escalate issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of file conversion or graphic arts applications such as Adobe Acrobat.
• Must have reliable and dependable transportation for travel to supported accounts.
• Flexibility to adapt to various client environments in an organized and professional manner.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
