The Company and The Role

A global manufacturing client is seeking a Finance Manager who will be dedicated to supporting their manufacturing operations team in Cambridge. The role will be responsible for leading financial reporting of operational performance, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes as well as strategic analysis for its manufacturing activities. You will lead a team of cost analysts and project finance professionals to ensure proper cost allocation, accurate standard costing and analysis of cost variances are performed. You will prepare and present operational review materials to support monthly and quarterly reporting requirements and present them to senior leadership.  You will oversee timely and accurate inventory valuation as well as review capex requests and project budgets for financial compliance.

 

What makes you a fit:

 

  • Experienced in managing a team of 4-5 direct reports. Ability to coach, mentor and develop a brand new team.
  • Skilled as a finance business partner to a manufacturing operations team and strong background in costing and managing cost allocation processes and opex budgets.
  • 5-7 years of finance experience ideally within a manufacturing environment.  Completion of a CPA designation is an asset
