Asa Nurse Practitioner you will be vital in providing comprehensivehealthcare services to patients. You will work collaboratively witha multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals which includesexercise physiologists nutritionists lifestyle coaches physicianassociates (IMGs) clinical assistants laboratory and diagnosticimaging technicians and experienced and professional administrativestaff.
Youwill perform Comprehensive Health Examinations and AnnualPreventive Health Examinations on new or existing patients. Youwill be MRP for a roster of patients enrolled in one of threepreventive health programs. You will evaluate patient progresstowards preventive health goals every 4 months (Triannual Reviews)using a sophisticated biomarker trend analysis and receivecompetitive compensation for activitybased clinicalwork.
Qualifiedapplicants will be invited for a tour and interview at the clinicin Etobicoke. Successful applicants will be invited to spend onefull day in the clinic with the medical director and the healthcare team shadowing observing participating in clinical care andevaluating if this
practice issuitable. Final applicants will be offered competitive remunerationas a contract independentprovider.
RequirementsCurrent registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) asa Nurse Practitioner
Master sdegree in Nursing or equivalent from an accreditedprogram
Minimum of 2 years ofclinical experience as a NursePractitioner
Excellent clinicalassessment and diagnostic skills
Strong interpersonal and communicationskills
Ability to workindependently and as part of ateam
Proficiency in electronicmedical records (EMR)systems
BenefitsCompensationis activitybased at $125/half anhour.
