Architecture49 is seeking an Intern Architect  to join our Winnipeg team.

The Winnipeg office serves as a central hub to a diverse team of design professionals working on projects across the public and private sectors, throughout the prairies and across Canada. 

Responsibilities

Assist the architects and senior team members in project design  Construction detailing and researching appropriate materials Validate plans with project programs and apply the code analyses prepared by senior architects Review existing documentation and visit sites in order to gather data for the preparation of architectural drawings, documentation, models and visualizations Actively maintaining and progressing the professional requirements for provincial internship

Qualifications

Accredited professional architectural degree from a CACB recognized University Registration in, or eligibility to register in, a provincial professional internship program; 1-5+ years of relevant experience in an Architectural consulting firm Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software; AutoCAD software; Microsoft 365 environment; and Bluebeam are required for this role. Preference given to candidates with knowledge of visualization software (Sketchup, VRay, Enscape); Adobe Creative Suite and Generative Design Tools.
