The successful candidate will manage a teamof engineers and technicians oversee project ensure technicalexcellence and contribute to the company s growth by developingclient relationships and new business opportunities. Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Leadand manage the Geotechnical Engineering Department ensuringeffective team coordination development andperformance.
  • Overseethe planning design and of geotechnical engineering projectsensuring quality timeliness andcostefficiency.
  • Provideexpert technical guidance on geotechnical issues including soil androck mechanics foundation design slope ility and ground improvementtechniques.
  • Actas the primary point of contact for clients maintaining andenhancing client relationships and identifying business developmentopportunities.
  • Ensureall geotechnical designs and reports meet industry standards andregulatoryrequirements.
  • Collaboratewith the business development team to identify potential marketsand opportunities for growth and prepare proposals and bids for newprojects.
  • Identifyand mitigate project risks ensuring that health safety andenvironmental standards areupheld.
  • Managedepartment budgets resources and schedules to meet project andcompanyobjectives.
  • Providementorship to junior engineers fostering a collaborative andhighperforming teamenvironment.

Qualifications&Ss:

  • Bachelors or Master s degree in Civil or GeotechnicalEngineering.
  • Registeredas a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Alberta or eligibility forregistration.
  • Minimumof 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering with at least35 years in a consultingcompany.
  • Strongknowledge of geotechnical engineering principles with handsonexperience in foundation design slope ility site investigation andgroundimprovement.
  • Provenability to manage large complex projects including budgetingscheduling and resourceallocation.
  • Demonstratedleadership in managing teams with a focus on collaborationmentorship and professionaldevelopment.
  • Strongbusiness development ss with experience in client relationshipmanagement and proposalpreparation.
