Snowbirds Auto Connection Ltd. is hiring for a part-time claims specialist - SAC has been providing vehicle transportation services for over 30 years :
  • Communicate verbally and written with claimants, the company and relevant parties to document, process, investigate and finalize the automobile claim in a professional manner
  • Exercise judgement to calculate liability
  • Proper claim resolution process; able to construe where/if the claim did occur
  • Work to have timely resolution to claims (example: developing a case strategy, a case evaluation and escalating issues only if necessary)
  • Ability to decipher and understand vehicle repair estimates from body shops
  • Attention to detail to review and analyze images, photos, videos and vehicle condition reports
  • Claimants are to be responded to in a timely, professional manner
  • Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting on claims investigated
  • Document all claims in a detailed, organized manner including all pieces of pertinent information
  • Negotiate settlement. Utilize available tools and resources.
  • Manage expenses by working with auto body/repair shops and managing the scope of work assigned 

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Applicants are required to have relevant experience in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years
  • Good Knowledge of how to evaluate automobile damage 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Minimum of 3 years customer service experience 
  • Experience working with automobile repair/ body shop estimates 
  • Any experience working with auto insurance claims would be an excellent asset
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook proficiently
  • Skillful in analytical thinking and problem solving

  • 10 hours per week maximum 
  • The company will provide training for company software, processes, contacts, etc..
