The Communications Manager (m/f/d) role at Roche Canada Pharma offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a healthier future by driving the strategic development and execution of internal and external communications initiatives. By igniting a passion for Roche Canada among various audiences and sharing impactful stories, the Communications Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the corporate reputation and ultimately improving outcomes for patients and healthcare systems.

Your key responsibilities

Strategy:

Developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies to effectively communicate Roche Canada's story and educating key audiences about the value of innovation and innovative medicines.

Shaping and positioning the Roche brand and reputation by tailoring the right message to the right audience at the right time through the right channels.

Considering key business insights to create cohesive outcome-based communications strategies 

Voice of Healthcare:

Ensuring a united external presence for Roche Canada by leading cross-functional visibility efforts.

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Roche Canada's medicines, therapeutic areas, healthcare policy initiatives, and other relevant business factors.

Managing strategic content creation and flow for internal and external communications channels, including website, social media channels, and blog.

Teams and Stakeholders:

Collaborating with stakeholders to align messaging and approaches, co-creating content, and identifying employee engagement opportunities across all functions within Roche Canada Pharma.

Anticipating issues, developing mitigation plans, and minimizing impact on patients and Roche.

Your Profile

Confident bilingual communications expert with strong writing skills.

Experienced in the public affairs trifecta (government relations, stakeholder relations, and communications).

Appreciates the complexity of Canada's healthcare systems.

Calm under pressure (and maybe even loves working toward a tight deadline).

Strategic thinker who can balance planning and implementation.

What you’ll need to be successful

In this position, you will be servicing customers across Canada, therefore a proficient level of English and French are required.

Experience ranging from 5-7 years in a communications role (PR agency and/or in-house pharmaceutical company experience an asset) or transferable skills and experience from related functional areas.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience writing across different mediums, and through different voices 

Creative thinker who will bring bold ideas to the table and deliver new and highly effective communications while remaining in tune with local compliance and Canadian regulations.

Le poste de Gestionnaire des communications (h/f/d) chez Roche Canada Pharma offre une opportunité passionnante de contribuer à un avenir plus sain en développant et en mettant en œuvre des initiatives de communication internes et externes. Votre principales responsabilités

Stratégie

Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de communication internes et externes pour communiquer efficacement l'histoire de Roche Canada et éduquer les publics clés sur la valeur de l'innovation et des médicaments innovants.

Façonner et positionner la marque et la réputation de Roche en adaptant le bon message au bon public, au bon moment et par le bon canal.

Prendre en compte les informations clés de l'entreprise pour créer des stratégies de communication cohérentes axées sur les résultats.

Voix de la santé

Assurer une présence externe unifiée pour Roche Canada en menant des efforts de visibilité interfonctionnels.

Maintenir une connaissance approfondie des médicaments, des domaines thérapeutiques, des initiatives politiques de santé et d'autres facteurs pertinents pour l'entreprise.

Gérer la création et la diffusion stratégiques de contenu pour les canaux de communication internes et externes, y compris le site web, les médias sociaux et le blog.

Équipes et parties prenantes

Collaborer avec les parties prenantes pour aligner les messages et les approches, co-créer du contenu et identifier les opportunités d'engagement des employés dans toutes les fonctions de Roche Canada Pharma.

Anticiper les problèmes, élaborer des plans d'atténuation et minimiser l'impact sur les patients et Roche.

Votre profil

Expert(e) bilingue en communication, doté(e) de solides compétences rédactionnelles.

Expérience dans le domaine de la trifecta des affaires publiques (relations gouvernementales, relations avec les parties prenantes et communication).

Comprend la complexité des systèmes de santé canadiens.

Calme sous la pression (et peut-être même aime-t-il travailler dans un délai serré ) 

Esprit stratégique capable de concilier planification et mise en œuvre.
