In this position the PMC Clerk is responsible for maintaining and updating the PMC database daily to ensure plant equipment is maintained in proper working order. The PMC clerk is responsible for issuing and monitoring payment of maintenance purchase orders. The PMC clerk actively engages the entire maintenance team.

What’s involved in this role:

Support the achievement of all corporate and site objectives

Assist in the production of safe, legal and quality products that meet customer, corporate, audit and government requirements/specifications. 

Aim for continuous improvement at all times by participating in root cause analysis, management meetings, AIP discussions and VPM or HACCP discussions as requested.  New employees shall attend food safety, quality and process control orientation training and at minimum yearly training after that (and when changes are made). Input and process information into PMC 2000 system, as well as monitoring of PM completion rates. Daily issuance and updating of work order database (PMC 2000). Complete work order documents and summary reports. Ordering, purchasing and receipt of maintenance parts and supplies. Research vendor/invoice discrepancies Assist in maintaining and processing departmental purchase orders. Prepare requisitions and/or specifications for maintenance related equipment and materials as requested. Recommend improvements in workflow procedures and have the ability to use equipment forms. Participate in development and maintenance of a World Class Manufacturing environment and Total Productive Maintenance. Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance and production support areas. Tracking of Sanitary maintenance completion Ensure only approved service suppliers are used; communicate all deviations to Maintenance supervisor.

What you need to join our team:

On the job training will be provided and monitored for a period of time before the individual is ready to work independently.  To become educated with and comply with all applicable plant procedures. For example: safety, GMP’s, SOP’s, SSOP’s, HACCP , CFIA procedures, SQF objectives and requirements. 1-2 years post high school education preferably in accounting or business, accounting diploma preferred.
