**Job Description: Pastry Clerk**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pastry Clerk to join our bustling bakery team. As a Pastry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in creating a great experience for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Taking and filling customer orders, preparing, portioning and packaging pastries
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, suggesting suitable pastries, and fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Monitor and manage pastry inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for daily operations.
- Display pastries and desserts in a neat, organized and visually appealing manner.
- Properly price and label all pastries and desserts
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and tools.

**Requirements**:

- Capable of standing for extended periods, heavy lifting, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with the bakery team
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as the bakery's operating hours may require.
- Good verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a customer focused role is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
