Weare currently seeking Wildlife Biologists to join our team basedout of our Edmonton and Whitecourt office. This is a fulltimepermanent position that is focused on inventory assessments andecological restorations. Project work includes forest inventoryecological site assessments wildlife inventories and roadway/streamcrossing assessments and restorations. Project work is remote teambased safety driven and is completed for the energy and forestsectors throughout theprovince.

PositionAccountabilities
  • Thisposition is accountable for safe and efficient projectwork;
  • Manageproject deliverables and working relationships with Woodlands peersmanagement andclients;
  • Initiatedevelop and execute continuous improvement initiatives and bestpractices;
  • Assistthe Operation Manager with the scheduling and management ofprojects.
PositionRequirements andQualifications
  • Experiencein wildlife sweeps wetland assessments watercourse crossingassessments fish identification fishery habitat classificationplant identification soil classification ecological restorationsfield data collection andreporting;
  • Experiencein remote field work and working around big yellow equipment willbe considered anasset;
  • UniversityDegree or technical diploma is required in Environmental EarthScience Forestry Biology orEngineering;
  • Professionalregistration or eligibility in one of Alberta s ProfessionalRegulatoryOrganizations;
  • Minimumexperience of 2years;
  • Stronganalytical and reportingskills;
  • Abilityto maintain a valid class 5 driver s license with a cleanabstract;
  • Abilityto demonstrate a safety and customer servicefocus.
