**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Triton Environmental Consultants Ltd. (“Triton”) is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic** Wildlife Biologists, at all experience levels, **to join a well-established team of environmental professionals in our **Edmonton, AB office**

Responsibilities, depending on experience level, include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Conducting wildlife surveys and monitoring procedures including breeding bird and herptile surveys, pre-disturbance nest surveys, nest monitoring, various sensitive species-specific surveys, construction mitigation for wildlife, bat surveys and monitoring, and herptile capture and relocation
- Providing technical wildlife support to collaborative project teams
- Managing tasks and projects according to approved scopes of works and delivering quality reports on schedule
- Liaising with on-site client representatives and contractors
- Providing quality and independent review for projects
- Providing an understanding of environmental Best Management Practices and advising clients accordingly
- Working collaboratively within the Triton corporate culture

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biology or related field
- P.Biol. or eligibility for registration with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists or equivalent professional designation
- Some experience with wildlife biology is preferred.
- Experience conducting a broad variety of wildlife scopes in pre-construction and construction settings
- Species at Risk experience an asset
- Familiarity with Provincial and Federal regulations and guidance materials
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style
- Superior problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box
- Valid driver's licence from a Canadian province or Territory acceptable for driving alone and with passengers in a work setting
