Electrical Account Manager

Are you sales motivated?

Do you have the ability develop long term relationships with customers?

Are you consistently in search of business opportunities?

If so, we are currently in search of a sales-orientated person to join our team You will be responsible for all outside electrical sales, quotes, and after-sale service.

Your major focus will be on growing our business by calling on and servicing an existing account base as well as developing new accounts in the electrical sales industry. Travel may be required within the region.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating and nurturing a new customer baseDeveloping and maintaining positive customer relationshipsEnsuring exceptional customer service with your account baseUnderstanding industry related products, and constant training on latest trends and technologyBuilding relationships and partnerships with vendorsBeing involved in a strong team environmentResponsible for aligning each account with proper market pricingEnter quotations and orders into the system with accuracyAttending to customer inquiries in a timely mannerCreating and managing your territory sales budgetsBuilding strong connections with customers to adapt to and understand individual needsWorking closely with our internal team to ensure customer needs are metOther duties as required

SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES

Exceptional customer serviceAbility to warm up and develop instant rapport with potential customersAbility to develop long term relationships and generate referrals from your customersExcellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and writtenImpeccable organizational skills with attention to detailTime management & multitasking skills to serve several customers at the same timeStrong networking skills, outgoing personalityExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, POS, Email)Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a teamProven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Minimum grade 12 education requiredMinimum of two years’ sales experience (Counter Sales, Inside Sales or Account Manager) requiredClean Driver's Abstract requiredPost-Secondary courses in electrical preferredSkilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, electrical contractors and the public preferredKnowledge of the electrical industry or a background in electrical products would be considered an asset

Final candidates will be required to undergo an assessment and security screening, including a Criminal Record Check and Driver’s Abstract. Employment is subject to screening completion that is satisfactory to Bartle & Gibson.
