REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

High school diploma/educational equivalent

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record

One (1) year customer oriented business experience preferred

Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training

Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Good time management and organizational skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to multitasking, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment

Willing to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs


COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES REQUISES

Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent

Posséder un permis de conduire valide et un bon dossier de conduite

Il est souhaitable de posséder au moins un (1) an d’expérience dans le domaine du service à la clientèle

Capacité de soulever des charges de 70 lb et de manoeuvrer, avec l'aide d'un appareil approprié, des colis pesant jusqu'à 150 lb

Réussir l’évaluation des compétences de conducteur

Une certaine connaissance des activités de Federal Express Canada et de la réglementation douanière canadienne constitue un atout

Bien maîtriser les relations humaines et la communication

Bonne maîtrise de la gestion du temps et de l’organisation

Excellente maîtrise du service à la clientèle

Capacité de mener plusieurs tâches de front, de s’adapter au stress et de travailler sous une forte pression

Être prêt à faire preuve de souplesse et à travailler à des heures variables ou durant les congés selon les besoins opérationnels

En plus des facteurs habituels faisant partie du processus de sélection, tout candidat à un poste exigeant la conduite d’un véhicule comme compétence de base doit posséder un permis de conduire valide (p. ex. de classe 5, G, ou 1 AZ) et un dossier de conduite affichant un maximum de deux infractions et / ou accidents au cours des 24 mois précédant la date de candidature. Les candidats feront en outre l’objet d’une évaluation basée sur l’examen approfondi :

  1. de leur dossier de conduite courant,
  2. des résultats de leur entrevue et
  3. des résultats de toute évaluation de leurs compétences de conducteur.
