- Provides specialized technical input to Civil studies and design of Marine facilities and infrastructure such as jetties, wharfs and piers
- Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
- Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Prepares technical specification sections.
- Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, no less than:
- A University Degree in Civil Engineering + four (4) years of relevant experience in the Civil design of Marine facilities and infrastructure, such as jetties, wharfs and piers.
- Engineering designation (P.Eng) required.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
Preferred Requirements:
- Must have experience in "Ship to Shore" civil services design, such as oily water, sanitary, bilge water, compressed air etc. taken off the ship and stored on site or directed to municipal systems.

- Company paid relocation is not available for this position.
- Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
