Position: | Full-Time Mobile Security Guard
Site: | Branch Patrol - 993 Princess St
Hours: | Continental Rotation - Nights Only - 2000-0800
Payrate: | $18.00/hour Job Responsibilities:
Being alert and observant while being outside, standing or walking for an extended period in all weather conditions Maintain communication with fellow security guards, dispatch, clients, and management Work independently Ensure all site staff adhere to Paladin Security policies and procedures Ensure proper documentation is passed onto the Shift Leads/Dispatchers, clients, and Paladin management team Complete mobile patrols diligently Document and investigate security incidents and complaints Communicates any concerns/issues with reporting supervisor/Client Service Manager Report any deficiencies with the vehicle Be observant and record all discrepancies, deficiencies and safety hazards/concerns noted during patrols and take corrective action  Be courteous and helpful in enforcing all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Respond immediately to any emergency and co-ordinate response accordingly based off established procedures. Maintain the highest standard of security; be professional in attitude, appearance and application. Perform security duties in accordance with established proceduresEnsure they are being conducted within the limitations of any federal, provincial and municipal laws. Additional duties as required Job Requirements:
Ability to work alone and be self-motivated Valid Ontario Security License Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor) Proof of (minimum) double COVID-19 vaccination A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Tuberculosis Skin Tests Step 1 & 2) G level driver's licensing, with a clean driver's abstract Minimum 1 year of security experience required Experience in Mobile Security is considered an asset English fluency (written and oral) required Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability Attend 6 days of blended (virtual/in-class) pre-deployment training at the Kingston Branch office Minimum 2+ years of security experience requiredExperience in Mobile security will be preferredExperience in commercial security will be preferred
