Position Summary

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will provide on-site support of Miovision systems and employees across the business by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues with hardware, software, computers, and applications within our Kitchener, Ontario, Canada headquarters. You will be co-owner of the IT Service Desk and work directly with employees providing troubleshooting and task-based solutions ensuring uptime and efficiency throughout the business. You are the primary contact for all new hire setups, including workstation configuration and account activation/creation. You will help build and support Miovision’s identity strategy through the administration of Okta, AD, and Azure AD. In support of the larger Miovision employee base, this role will assist with supply and materials ordering and vendor management. 

Key Accountabilities

Primary point of contact for on-premise and remote employees requesting IT assistance Ownership of Miovision’s IT Service Desk ticketing system and end-user support Escalating Service Desk ticket requests to tier-2 support Onboarding of new employees including workstation setup and account creation/management Offboarding of employees, accounts and systems Server provisioning and maintenance  Troubleshooting Windows Desktop, Windows Server, MacOS, Ubuntu workstation and network issues  After-hours on-call support as needed Management of Directory & Identity Services: Okta, AD, Azure AD, Jamf Procurement and management of IT supplies and assets such as workstation, server components and peripherals Managing enterprise-distributed applications such as Anti-virus solutions including access and permission control Skills/Qualifications Detail-oriented, ability to adhere to service level metrics Customer-focused ideally with previous experience in an experience in a service role Excellent time management skills Previous hands-on technology experience Proficient with Windows and MacOS workstations  Experience with Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory Experience with Okta, or equivalent identity management tooling Experience with Linux Experience with Google Workspace and Office 365 Experience using JIRA and Confluence Ability to document standard operating procedures  Excellent communication skills Customer service-oriented Ability to work with minimal supervision Plays for the team Additional Assets Security Administration Advanced knowledge of Identity systems and workflows Advanced enterprise network administration experience Perks and Benefits Comprehensive health benefits starting on day one RRSP Matching Plan  Variable Incentive Plan  : We extend all three-day weekends to four-days and provide a Holiday Shutdown in December Virtual Healthcare Service providing employees and their families access to healthcare providers 24/7 Internet subsidy and a remote work allowance  Enhanced paternity and maternity leaves Unlimited vacation policy Virtual fitness classes
