Overview

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysisOR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysisOR equivalent experience. 1+ years of experience with big data platforms.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building Power BI, Excel, and Reporting Services dashboards and reports.  Experience in a data-intensive role, with a focus on product and advanced analytics.  Problem solving, technical and data analysis skills.  Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data. 

Data Analytics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $91,000 - CAD $168,400 per year.

Responsibilities

Design and implement key datasets that provide structured and timely access to actionable business information.  Develop a deep understanding of vast data sources (existing on the cloud) and know exactly how, when, and which data to use to tackle business problems.  Utilize a variety of data stores including Azure Data Lake, SQL Database, SQL Data Warehouse  Retrieve and analyze data using Kusto Query Language, Scope SQL, Excel, Power BI and other data management systems.  Act as a conduit between multiple PMs to coordinate and facilitate interdependent work efforts at the feature level Embody our and Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work.Industry leading healthcareEducational resourcesDiscounts on products and servicesSavings and investmentsMaternity and paternity leaveGenerous time awayGiving programsOpportunities to network and connect
