That can take us in some pretty amazing directions, and as the NetSuite Specialist , you’ll have your hands on the wheel as we drive optimization of our NetSuite ERP system and support our financial and operations departments to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day support of NetSuite under the oversight of our Senior Business Systems Architect. You will assist on the configuration, customization, and maintenance of our NetSuite ERP system to meet the unique needs of our professional services organization. Your strong background in business analysis, data reporting, and accounting knowledge will enable you to collaborate closely with various teams to administer the system in line with the wider financial and operational objectives including identifying requirements, designing solutions, and generating valuable financial insights.

NetSuite Administration : Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our ERP system, ensuring data integrity, security, including user access, security, roles, and permissions and system performance.

System Integration : Work closely with IT and other departments to assist on the integration of NetSuite with other systems or any external applications in line with our data strategy to enable seamless data flow and consistency.

Data Reporting and Analysis : Develop ad-hoc reports to support specific business needs and decision-making. Design and create comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, to provide insights into the financial performance of projects, departments, and the organization as a whole.

User Training and Support : Provide ongoing support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use NetSuite's financial functionalities and reporting tools. This includes training as needed to increase user adoption and quality of user engagement with the tool.

System Upgrades and Enhancements : Participate in system upgrades and implementations of new modules or functionalities related to finance and accounting processes.

Documentation : Developing, documenting, and following formal policies, procedures and protocols for changes, customization, standards, usage, etc.

Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the NetSuite evolution by staying current on NetSuite updates, accounting best practices, and emerging technologies.

Business Analysis : Partner with teams to understand business requirements and illustrate ways to leverage NetSuite to enable these requirements. Outline and implement system and reporting changes to institute the changes with operational efficiency and accuracy.

Accounting Expertise : Utilize your accounting knowledge to ensure accurate financial data entry, reconciliation, and adherence to accounting principles within NetSuite. Collaborate with the finance team to address accounting-related issues and maintain financial integrity.

Project management : Project manage and implement changes to the system in line with financial frameworks including enacting any system upgrades and updates as required by the Senior Architect.

What you’ll have:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. 3-5+ years of proven, hands-on NetSuite experience, with a focus on financial modules and functionalities within a professional services environment. Strong project management and business analysis skills, with the capabilities to understand and translate financial and operational processes into system requirements. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in NetSuite reporting tools (Financial Report Builder, Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics, etc.) and data visualization tools including Power BI. Knowledge of NetSuite configuration, customization, and administration, including workflows, forms, fields, roles, and permissions is ideal. Experience with system integrations, implementations, data migration, and financial data analysis. NetSuite certifications (Administrator, SuiteFoundation, SuiteAnalytics, etc.) and knowledge of PowerBI and NetSuite scripting is considered an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
