OBJET DE L'EMPLOI :
En tant qu'agent de liaison en sciences médicales (CSM) de GSK, votre rôle servira de ressource scientifique clé pour les spécialistes canadiens en hépatologie. Certaines de vos responsabilités comprendront la réponse aux demandes d'informations scientifiques approfondies et innovantes dans le domaine de l'hépatologie, y compris les résultats les plus récents de conférences scientifiques, les publications les plus récentes dans des revues savantes et le pipeline de GSK. Identifier, établir et maintenir des relations scientifiques entre pairs avec des experts externes clés en hépatologie en fournissant des échanges scientifiques et en ayant un impact sur les patients ayant les normes les plus élevées de l'industrie en suivant les valeurs, les politiques, les normes, les lois applicables et les réglementations de GSK. Soyez l'expert scientifique sur le terrain en hépatologie sur le territoire et maintenez une compréhension et une connaissance approfondies des maladies, des traitements et du paysage concurrentiel pour assurer un excellent dialogue scientifique et l'application des connaissances cliniques. Soyez agile et adaptable à l'interface et à la valeur ajoutée dans un continuum d'intervenants internes et externes d'une manière non promotionnelle et être réceptif aux demandes de renseignements scientifiques et médicaux non sollicités. Servir d'interface principale entre la communauté des soins de santé de votre territoire et les équipes internes de GSK pour recueillir des informations qui éclairent les stratégies commerciales actuelles et futures. Assister et fournir un soutien scientifique aux expositions médicales et aux sessions scientifiques lors de conférences médicales régionales, nationales et internationales, au besoin. Fournir une formation scientifique aux représentants commerciaux de GSK concernant les produits GSK et les conditions qu'ils traitent en utilisant du matériel de formation à la vente approuvé.QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE :
Un diplôme d'études supérieures en sciences (M.D., Ph.D., PharmD), un permis de conduire canadien valide et une forte maîtrise de l'anglais (scientifique et technique) sont requis pour ce poste. Une aptitude exceptionnelle à appliquer et à tirer parti de l'information scientifique et médicale tout en établissant une crédibilité scientifique par le biais de discussions et de débats entre pairs est essentielle. Excellent conférencier, avec des compétences exceptionnelles en présentation scientifique Excellentes compétences en relations humaines avec un accent sur le travail d'équipe et l'exécution stratégique du plan d'affaires médicales dans votre territoire respectif. Connaissance de la réglementation régissant l'échange de renseignements médicaux avec les professionnels de la santé dans l'environnement pharmaceutique canadien. De saines compétences en négociation, en leadership et en organisation. Connaissance des processus de remboursement au Canada. Capacité de travailler de façon autonome et capacité de se déplacer sur l'ensemble du territoire jusqu'à 70 %.QUALIFICATIONS PRÉFÉRÉES :

As a GSK Medical Science Liaison (MSL), your role will function as a key scientific resource for Canadian hepatology specialists. Some of your responsibilities will include responding to requests for in-depth, innovative scientific information in the field of hepatology, including the most recent findings from scientific conferences, the most recent publications in scholarly journals, and GSK's pipeline. You will also be responsible for gathering insights from external experts and the environment to support GSK’s research efforts as well inform overall strategy. The MSL role can directly drive impact on the future of healthcare by enhancing the scientific understanding and exchange of knowledge with external experts, supporting optimal care for the people living with liver disease in Canada.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be expected to…
Identify, establish, and maintain scientific peer-to-peer relationships with key external experts in hepatology through providing scientific exchange and driving impact for patients with the highest industry standards following GSK values, policies, standards, applicable laws, and regulations. Be the scientific field-based expert in hepatology in the territory and maintain a deep understanding and knowledge of diseases, treatments, and the competitive landscape to ensure excellent scientific dialogue and clinical knowledge translation. Be agile and adaptable to interface and provide value across a continuum of both internal and external stakeholders in a non-promotional manner and be responsive to unsolicited scientific and medical information inquires. Serve as the primary interface between the healthcare community within your territory and the internal GSK teams to gather insights that inform current and future business strategies. Attend and provide scientific support at medical exhibits and scientific sessions at regional, national, and international medical conferences as needed. Provide scientific training for GSK sales representatives regarding GSK products and the conditions they treat utilizing approved sales training materials.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
An advanced post-graduate scientific degree (MD, Ph.D., PharmD), a valid Canadian driver’s license, and strong fluency in English (scientific and technical), is required for this position. Excellent public speaker, with outstanding scientific presentation skills Excellent people skills with a focus on teamwork and strategic execution of medical affairs plan in your respective territory. Knowledge of regulations governing medical information exchange with healthcare professionals within the Canadian pharmaceutical environment. Sound negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills. Familiarity with reimbursement processes in Canada. Ability to work independently and ability to travel throughout the territory up to 70%.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in hepatology or rare disease (2+ years) in a medical affairs position with established relationships/connections with associated healthcare professionals is an asset.#LI-GSK
