Job DescriptionThis leadership role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering Rx accurately and timely. Ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patients' needs, and counseling with appropriate documentation to all patients.
- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
- Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs.
- Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
- Provide ongoing training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs).
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license. Excellent leadership and performance management skills are required, along with proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies. Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems are definite assets.
A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $140,000 per year is offered, based on location and experience. Benefits include progressive careers, comprehensive training, flexibility, and a great benefits package.
